Gewurzmuhle in Berching

Always a starting point for us to spend a special evening! Shortly before the lockdown light, we were there again with friends to enjoy this great meal in a very nice atmosphere. Of course you also have to say that the prices are on a higher level, so it is not possible to eat there regularly, BUT the quality of the food and the preparation are very high, there is a lot of emphasis on regional procurement and we don't know any another restaurant that can make a steak so extremely well! That makes the price absolutely justified and tempts to become repeat offenders! Not only once did we order a bare steak for "dessert" and enjoyed it, which leads to amazement every time, but you just can't help it. Admittedly, sweet desserts are not our thing, but they are also delicious. The service has always been without any complaints, unfortunately we can't say anything about the rooms, as we have never stayed overnight. We are really looking forward to being able to let one, two or three finest pieces of meat melt in the mouth in the spice mill! Thank you for this enjoyment !!!!! Your family Gerngroß

It was a very nice evening in the spice mill! We were served by Asol who was very attentive and friendly. Her recommendation for the ox cheeks and the regional Schuller beer were excellent. A nice evening can end in the lovingly designed garden and the cozy beer garden. Thanks to asol for the great advice. We will be back :)

Fantastic food in a fantastic atmosphere, rounded off by a very gracious and attentive service! At the beginning there was even a little "greeting from the kitchen". All of this at very fair prices. Highly Recommended!!!

The food is a delight. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the boss asks yet even after if everything was okay. And when you're here, be sure to try the iced emperor. Will definitely be back.

Far from the highway, we were in the spice mill, which is rather inconspicuous from the outside, for eating with friends. You will be welcomed in a friendly manner and accompanied with great service throughout your stay. The meals are served as small works of art that are also completely tasty. The somewhat higher prices fully reflect the quality.

The picture is a little deceptive. Modern functional building with an ambitious and very tasteful interior. Orientation conference hotel. Good breakfast. Our room was cut a bit strange and not completely odorless.

Great team, great food and great rooms too. But what really appealed to us was the friendly reception of humans AND dogs! Only to be recommended!

It's a shame that you can't give 5 stars "plus". We liked the friendliness, even when we made the reservation by phone. Father and son work great together here. Wines are very different - the service had no problem offering us different samples - no charge !!. The food tasted excellent. We'll be back in the spring.

Outstanding!! Where love is in the detail! We arrived quite late, but had previously asked how long there are hot food. (21:00) From the welcome, the amazing food to the farewell, the little chat in between ... So attentive friendly staff ... our service asked us if we would like to take a water for the rest of the trip home. We were totally thrilled. About the food we betray nothing, .... only so much: drive there, take a lot of time ALWAYS have the feeling of being a special guest in a great place.
